OOTD- ethnic with printed leggings.

Hello everyone,

I can finally rightfully say university is HECTIC. It has been a piece of cake for me for the past two years, but boy the last two weeks have been torture (massive assignment deadlines, 2 events at uni, a trip to CNN, my sister's convocation, an interview, debate competition, presentation and not to forget the Pakistani elections)

Anyway, now coming to the topic of printed pants, they have been around for sometime but it is now that they have taken over me. Nothing attracts me more than a lovely print on bottoms (for now). So when I attended my mum's kitty party yesterday and wanted to dress something casual yet chic. Hence I mixed traditional with modern.
My top (don't know if i should classify it as a kurta) is from Pret9 (Mall of Lahore, got it during my trip to Pakistan in February) and the printed leggings are from Terra Nova. I did see some dresses with printed pants back in Pakistan but they didn't call out to me. Anyhow I decided to experiment and this was the result. Sorry none of my front view pictures came out good :'(. One eye looked smaller than the other.lol

Double Trouble. Does this image look weird?

Wedges from New Look
Bare faced. Almost. Applied bit of Rimmel BB cream. Vintage Earrings from Global Village

My everyday companion. My trusty Fossil watch

Is my combo a bit weird? Would you experiment like this?

Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe

Hello Gorgeous girls <3
It is no secret that I am the queen of lazy. I love cakes and everything baked but honestly it takes a lot of time!So when I cam across this mug cake recipe I was ecstatic! A 5 minute sinful delight? hell yeah. I've already made this twice in three days so you can guess how easy it it. First time I used Nutella and the second time (picturized) I used mini galaxy bars.

So let's get started.

Chocolate Mug Cake (with nutella or any other chocolate)
Ingredients:
4 tbsp self raising flour (could use normal flour as well)
4 tbsp sugar
2-3 tbsp cocoa powder (depending on if its sweet or not)
3 tbsp vegetable oil (less than this would give you a dry cake)
3 tbsp milk
1 egg
3-4tbsp nutella or any chocolate bar of your choice (i used 2 mini galaxy)

Preparation
Mix all the ingredients in a mug.
and heat in a microwave for exact 1.5 minutes (1minute 30 seconds). If you exceed it will burn your cake

Optional: mix cream with nutella for "icing"

Soap & Glory Cath a Wrinkle in Time Deep Moisturizer- Review

Hello loves,

I LOVE Soap&Glory. Anything to do with retro and quirky, witty packaging, I'm a convert (Benefit, TheBalm, etc)

Since two months I'm getting treated for laser hair removal on my face (post coming soon on that, here's to being hairless, Wohooo!) Ever since the treatment, I started noticing dryness on my face (more than usual.) So long story short, I needed a light mositurizer for the mornings/days to brave the desert heat! A friend of mine gifted me this because she didn't use it at all. Read ahead to know my views on this.

According to the Soap&Glory Website

CATCH A WRINKLE IN TIME™

AGE AVOIDING DAY MOISTURISER

A moisturising day cream engineered with an unparalleled Swiss-developed anti-aging complex that blends high performance hydrators and clinically proven collagen stimulating tri-peptides to smooth away wrinkles, rejuvenate, firm, and protect your skin

Instructions for Use

Every morning, massage a light layer of Catch A Wrinkle In Time a well-cleansed face and neck. Let it soak in for a few seconds before putting makeup on top.
My Verdict :
You can trust Soap&Glory to give you powerhouse products with a chuckle along. The product smells divine, and has a nice thick consistency. But don't let the thickness of the moisturizer fool you.It is not oily at all! Perfect to moisturize during the day; hence suitable for all skin types (even you oily girlies out there). This product according to me is also suitable before applying makeup (if you want to skip primer altogether.) I also used it on my dry hands and worked perfect as a hand cream due to it non-sticky nature. A total winner for me. Definitely a repurchase.

LOL. Win Soap&Glory. Total Win
